Assuming you purchased from a reputable supplier you will be able to get different size blankets for different size mugs,. Ring your supplier of the heat press and ask if they sell a blanket for Windsor mugs and hopefully they do

It's ok, no offence taken! I know where you're coming from though, you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear (or something like that haha) we've tried that and unfortunately they don't do a blanket for that mug.

I kind of wish we hadn't have got the order to be honest, it's fantastic in one way as he's already talking about wanting mouse mats too but as a first project I'm finding it exasperating, time consuming and a tad above my skill level at the moment. If I crack it (not literally of course) I'll be dead chuffed though as am learning a lot in the process.

you could by a rubber insert from bms (i think they do em ) this is basically a blanket you wrap around the mug before putting it in the press this would help getting a firm grip from the press (add extra time to the heating process).
You may have saved a couple of pounds buying a cheap press but it may well cost you a lot more in lost orders and ruined blanks etc but your main problem is going to be when the blanket on your press burns out (and it will) will you be able to get a replacement? if bought from bms or a similar reputable supplier they would have the blankets with the correct wireing in stock if you bought your press from ebay for example i doubt you would get much support from the seller and to be honest the presses are not that much cheaper on ebay than bms
