How many prints do the Ricoh SG3110 Subli-JetR Cartridges roughly do?

I was thinking about purchasing the Ricoh A4 SG3110DN Sublimation Printer. I was wondering roughly how many mugs will the SG3110 Subli-JetR Cartridges do?[/h]

lots. hundreds and hundreds

First set won't do as many as the ink stays in long lines to the print heads. Second set will go a lot further but you won't be disappointed with it

my first set have lasted over a year, I bought a backup set of ink and they went out of date!

I had the same problem, never buy a backup set is what I've learnt! lol. Always check the shelf life before you install and if you're not happy tell your supplier. Even when the carts state 'low ink' they'll last for ages

it's an expensive mistake to make, but I would prefer it to them lasting only 5 mins

I have also been looking at this printer today. Glad to know the ink cartridges last a while.
I remember buying an extra set of cartridges for an HP A3 printer and them going out of date, very expensive mistake.

Its probably not the best to ask how long they last as it will obviously be different for each person.

As an example I have had a set that has only lasted two days before. But then I had a bucket load of prints to do.

On the Sawgrass website (and BMS I think) there is a chart which gives you a rough indication as to how much a sheet costs. It would be far better to use that as a guide instead of a time period, which would only be relevant if we were all printing the same amount.

double wrap ink in plastic bags and store in fridge, extend life significantly ! - old trick from film but also applies to ink chemistry!
