Being new to this business, I have ordered fridge magnets from 2 separate suppliers who supply aluminium.
I think these look flimsy and I don't like them. What suppliers do others use that have a different type of magnet rather than the aluminium type?
Many Thanks,
James
Fridge Magnets
Re: Fridge Magnets
I actually just use acrylic ones, i'm not sure if this type would be suitable for you tho, bearing in mind i'm a photoshop so we just print the pic and pop it in. Much cheaper and faster than the subli ones.
Re: Fridge Magnets
I recently got hold of some of the ceramic tiles ones that Listawood sell at http://www.listawoodtradesupplies.co.uk/products.php?category=2§ion=12&product=691
You have to buy the sticky magnet backing separately http://www.listawoodtradesupplies.co.uk/products.php?category=12§ion=56&product=817
For a cheap product, I think they look pretty good because they're nice and thick and have a tactile appearance that thin fridge magnets just don't have.

Re: Fridge Magnets
I have looked at the site. Do you think 43mm is on the small side or do they look OK? I have looked in http://www.hometogifts.co.uk/ and they offer some alternatives.
Thanks for your help,

I don't sell many fridge magnets, so I'm probably not in the best position to say. Here's a picture of one after printing -joconnell wrote:I have looked at the site. Personally, I think they're about the right size to do what a fridge magnet was meant to do - hold a message or piece of paper to the fridge door. The acrylic ones AJLA mentions look nice, too, and are a a larger size.
A large fridge magnet is nice when your main purpose is to display a photo on the fridge, so it all comes down to what the customer wants.
