Vinyl question

Just a quickie as ive been looking round at vinyl stuff and on most suppliers lists it states that should be dry cleaned ...
so just wondering about washing the tshirts etc etc once pressed ... is it ok to wash as normal ?
i know obviously that i cant iron it .... lol

Garment vinyl varies and some can be dry cleaned/washed at high temp/even ironed.

yes ive looked at the info on there which is where i saw most of it states dry clean,but wondered about washing rather than dry cleaning it .... i mean dry cleaning a tshirt every time youve worn it would be quite tedious and expensive,so would washing it normally mess it up?
Somebody out there mustve tried it ...

No, you've misunderstood the instructions. This simply means it can be dry cleaned, not that it has to be

I swear by the xpres ultra cut, having tried many vinyls this comes up trumps for me. My fave t shirt which i wear to every show I do and also in the shop I made up over 4 years agom and it's still going strong. The vinyls holding up well, no cracks or signs of peeling alsthough I have to say the t shirt itself is starting to fade a little but I like to show my customers that it does last.
Give it a whirl you'll get lot's of technical advise from them too if you need it.

No probs, it all helps andeventually you will find the one that siuits (like me ) i DID A lot of time and testing with my staff to get the result I wanted. Didn't want people to come back and complaining. Unfortunately my very first batch 1 lady did hence the research so have a go and try it an wash it, I am sure they will send you a sample they often do with me with a product I havent tried before.

i have t shirts that live in and out of the machine, with any new vinyl i buy i cut a sample name of vinyl and date, and press it onto a shirt - normally a scrap one, i cut them up into 4 half fronts and half backs - they go in every time the machine goes on, (teenage son - so quite often) it gives me a chance to review the vinyl / dark jet paper / whatever and know what it is i like and dont like, as i can see what it was and how old it is
