Mug Press recomendations
Re: Mug Press recomendations
Can anyone recommend a good mug press for around £100? Before anyone says the £100 ones arent very good, my current mug press was £60 and has pressed around 2000 mugs so its paid for itself easily. I recently purchased a printer through iSub supplies who I cannot fault in anyway at all ( the company, not the printer ) and they want £240 for a mug press which is a little to expensive for me. If there's any companies on here that can help, I have cash waiting today.
Re: Mug Press recomendations
We had some from signzworld for around £60, but they were a bit inconsistent in how well they would work when they turned up, and we recently got two replacement blankets for them which didn't print as well to the edges as the initial ones did, so they are being replaced by better ones from Longforte for £100 (ex VAT) - but they've sold out, and are awaiting new stock of them.

Re: Mug Press recomendations
I have three of those signzworld black presses, one of them is fantastic and the other two I bought second hand, I'm still getting to know them. But they have changed those presses recently to three different blue presses with grey blankets and alternative control units. I'm sending one of the blue presses back and waiting for stock to arrive for the other style. So the new one might be as good who knows yet?
What is your current mug press mugman?
Couldn't see the Longforte press pisquee, no pre-order option?

When they go out of stock they disappear from view on he website. I got in touch as I was wanting to buy more of them, and they said they are waiting on new stock, of a new/better model to come in.

I have one from subli.co.uk, just received the updated version which simplifies heater changes for std, slim & latte mugs. Site showing an sql error at present but presume this is temporary.

I'm pretty sure that the subli press is the same as the signzworld press. The blurb is the same and they both changed to the new model at the same time.
Re: Mug Press recomendations
I have a cheap unnamed one from China, £80 I paid 4 years ago. The thing is, I normally use 10 oz mugs but Signzworld sent me 11oz mugs which I didnt want but apparently they are out of stock. So I have used these after a bit of adjustment and the finish is great. The reason I wanted a new press is because on dark designs the print was having white smeary faded/patches /lines going through them at the bottom so I thought the sleeve or machine was knackered. I always preheat the mugs and have the temp at 190 and the time set at 220 seconds. But as I say, these bigger mugs are printing lovely so panic over.

Looks like the Longforte Mug Presses have still not arrived.pisquee;95192 wrote:We had some from signzworld for around £60, but they were a bit inconsistent in how well they would work when they turned up, and we recently got two replacement blankets for them which didn't print as well to the edges as the initial ones did, so they are being replaced by better ones from Longforte for £100 (ex VAT) - but they've sold out, and are awaiting new stock of them.
What are people's opinions of the "Digital Dual Function" Mug Press that coralgraph.com is selling for almost £80.00 Would that be considered a decent press for someone like myself who wants to start printing mugs in the very near future?[h=3]
