I caused offense once when I first moved to Corfu - Was working as DJ in a big place and the boss could see me clearly from his cash till.. I was confident I could fill the place for him and quickly did, when things were going particularly well I caught sight of the chap looking at me, full of confidence I gave him the thumb and index finger 'O' (Divers use this signal to indicate everything is ok) - over there I was indicating that he was an Ars*h*le..

Everything was quickly explained and we went on to become great friends, he owns just about all of a popular resort on the island so that's just as well
