Also, remember, some of us here have been in business a long time, and over that time have built up some great contacts for suppliers, and can't/won't just give those up on a public forum at the drop of a hat (heck, there's some info on our product development we wouldn't tell anyone even if paid!) - they're part of building a business, and are one of the things people have to show for the time and money invested over the years. In many building a business is not just about money, but is about people and building the relationships with your suppliers and customers.

To make a point, as some others have also advised, more people are willing to help when the question is asked in a nicer way rather than acting like a bit of a d!ck.

All I can say is "wow", you never answered the questions I put to you but instead continue to be rude. Good luck in your business, I have a feeling you are going to need it if you are dealing with customers.

well said that man.

Kev the amount of info you gave in the first post looked like what you had typed into a search engine - hopefully you can see we are a helpful "family" here - not a clique, but first point of call is to read the section, then ask if you cannot find the answer you are looking for.

I think there are two types of person in this business...... 1. He who save a few bob and buys the first machine he sees without doing any research on it, the running costs, repair costs and sundries etc etc .....and 2. He who thoroughly researches the field he wants to enter to see how many bulls are standing in front of the gate on the other side!
The first will inevitably land in the shit and will lose everything,..... the second may also land in the shit but will always have a friend that will gladly lend him a hand.
Now, you kev sound like a bloke who has saved a few bob, bought some machinery and all the bumpf that goes with it and probably now doesnt have enough to fork out on quality tees.... hence the need for the cheapest around........ or it could be that you are prepared to make a product on the cheap and hope you dont get no complaints about the print quality etc etc. The people on here are probably some of the most qualified individuals in this industry who have all worked hard to be where they are today. Many are just starting out, maybe like yourself, who had no help through the means of this or other forums. Think yourself lucky that people are willing to part with their priceless knowledge. Try to be patient and courteous to other members and you will find you will get on just fine. If you can find the advice and help elsewhere for free, I would advise you go look there!. Try making an introduction and let people know who you are, what you do, and what you aim to achieve. And lastly, as SocialGiraffe originally asked.... if you answer his questions, Im more than sure you will get more than enough answers for you to be going on with.

No problem butt. By the way, Im just down the road from Inkdogz Dave. So, if you go back and read SocialGiraffe's post, post your answers about quantity, quality, for dtg, sub or transfer etc, you will be sure to get your answers but it will lastly be down to you to follow up on that info and decide what best suits your requirements. If you are new to the game (although I wouldnt think so if you have gone straight into DTG) read through the various topics that concern your area of business. You will find a mass of information on this forum that is absolutely priceless...... all it costs is your time. Good luck kev !
