Vacuum stopped working in 3d black sublimation machine, HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Vacuum stopped working in 3d black sublimation machine, HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone, today vacuum stopped working in my black 3d sublimation machine from china. Screen shows that vacuum is working, however, vacuum pump does not make any noise, it looks like it doesn't get any power, but I am not sure. Is anyone had the same issue? How to solve it? :frown:

I have the opposite problem home made vacuum oven with too much vacuum so much so that it often cracks the plates.

I am guessing from the way the question is worded that you are not confident enough to open the machine up and start poking around in what could be mains voltage circuits. Know anyone who dabbles in electronics?. It should be a relatively simple control circuit for the pump and it could just be an internal fuse that has blown - that said I'd want to know what caused the fuse to blow!

Hi Arfermo
You using a somewhat larger pump than is required? you can put a valve in your vacuum line which you can use to throttle the pump back. You can also introduce a small but controlled leak in the oven - the pump keeps on sucking but doesn't pull a high enough vacuum to break your plates. A simple gauge on the oven would be useful so you can monitor the vacuum. If all else fails you could try to control the vacuum level by manually turning the pump on and off.
Of course, I had a stack of pressure gauges in my workshop -30psi to +30 psi which would have done the job - the important word here being HAD

this machine doesn't have any fuses, I checked. All cables are fine but main board doesn't let current to go through, probably problem is in it

is it the mini 3d machine ? pump will have failed...we had it one one of ours...not expensive to replace from subliblanks in the uk
if mini machine...also check the metal fan inside at the top has got free movement and not jamming on anything
