Evening, my epson b1100 has packed up after few years, and seems it's now been replaced, but you can only get it from America, and postage way too high. What is anyone else using around this price range please.

You'll find the vast majority of users have probably gone towards Ricoh printers. The B1100 was never all that good and had a fair amount of issues. The 1500W was an excellent A3 Epson printer for dye sub.

Trouble is the Ricoh are quite expensive and i only do a small lot of printing, probably why i have such printing issues with the ink! Can you still get the 1500w, i thought that had been replaced too. Thanks for your input :)

Thanks for the info, do you know if you get the same issues with the Ricohs if you only do small amount of printing. What is this gel ink that Ricohs use??

The Ricoh's 'generally' don't suffer from the same issues but I'm finding I need to run a print through one of mine at least every few days just to keep it 100%.
