i am doing a good few mugs and all seams well other then the black coloured they look brown and the writing not as sharp had a look every where and cant seam to find the cause.

im using 230 degres then it goes upto 330 and then counts down from 180 seconds

I'm guessing that's Fahrenheit ? As a starting point, 180 secs at 180c is a good base.

i will try 356f for 180 secs see how that turns out thanks for the fast reply

do you let the mug press heat to 180c first before adding the mug, sorry im new to this

yes, put a spare blank mug in it whilst heating up and start your 180 sec from when the temp gets to the desired temp

have just done this and the mug came out with a greenish look onto the image looks better then the brownish look would you say it needs more time then 180 or more heat?

Have you got a photo to show us? Check that there is enough pressure around the mug, the blanket should curl around the edges slightly. Temperature depends on your individual press, but anything from around 170 degrees centigrade to 200. with similar times. There are many variables.

You haven't mentioned what ink, printer, or sublimation paper you are using, and whether you have an appropriate ICC profile installed.
All these things can/will affect your colour accuracy.

I set mine to 180 for 180sec. I let it heat up then put my mug in... Wait until it hits 180 again then start timer.
