Re: Outsourcing vinyl orders
Good evening everyone.
We've been sublimating as a hobby for a while, and are getting a number of regular customers.
We've had a few enquiries into pressing vinyl onto garments, but we can't afford the leap into buying a cutter and the other equipment yet.
Is there any recommendations as to individuals / companies that we could outsource the vinyl cutting, or even the whole article to, until we get enough set aside to get equipment ourselves.
If it helps we are north Essex based
Thanks in advance
Matt

Do you use a std heat press to sublimate flat items? If so you only need a silhouette cameo cutter at just over £200 it's a perfect cutter to start out with and comes with a great bit of software,

Re: Outsourcing vinyl orders
That's what I was planning, so I know at least I'll be on the right track
Re: Outsourcing vinyl orders
You have to pay extra to unlock the standard Silhouette Software to it's 'Designer' edition which is useful - its about £20.
I'm not sure the standard edition is good for anything, I think you can import some file types but thats about it.

Re: Outsourcing vinyl orders
I've been using the std software for 2 years now and it's done everything I need, I keeps saying I need to look into upgrading but not sure what it has to offer that I require.

We use Adobe Illustrator to design, and then export to the Silhouette software (standard version) for cutting.
