If I remember right they are in a folder called 'download' on the root page of your server

The page that has admin, catlog etc

I dont think that is right Mattie... the "download" folder in root is for digital downloads....pdf's etc. It randomly adds a series of numbers or letters and adds it to the address line. I could be wrong but when I tested my "download " folder for template downloads, the address was automatically changed each time so that no-one could just got to the folder and download for free....... if you get my drift? I know it doesnt help harlequeen, sorry. Im sure though that you can set any folder for customer uploads. Is it an extension that you have paid for from a third party ?... if so, this will allow you to choose where to upload although they usually do offer a recommended folder during the install through vQmOD. Sorry I cant be more specific.

I'm pretty sure it is.

When I used to use the default 'upload' function via options that is where it used to upload images to.

As I said, it could be wrong. Although I also thought that the only upload function was for the site admin....not customers, hence the root position for these folders. Oh well,Im sure someone will come up with the answer.... and harlequeen will have sorted it by then! hahahahahaha. Im going to see if there is an extension for free and give that a go.

Yeah it's in the options section where you create other options like text box, text area, dropdown etc. I've just tested it and it's definitely the "download" folder you find the uploaded images.

Only problem is Opencart renames the images for some reason so then you would never know which images goes with which order, that's why I didn't use it on my site when I first built it

Hi Guys, Thanks for the info. The upload destination file is indeed the download folder. Random letters and numbers are added to the file name, but easy enough to sort out if you have access to the root folder in your server directory.
It seems a strange place to put it, but as long as I can get at them, I don't mind.

Again, thanks for the input

Hi HarlequeenJust remember to clear the folder ever now and then otherwise you will either run out of space or your website will run slow (likely both) :)
