Have been trying to print off 6 mugs using my coralgraph mug press, so far 4 wasted due to light mugs
mugs are coral graph too 180x180, letting them get back up to temp before timer

Are you printing on the correct side of the sublimation paper and is the paper and ink from reliable source?

Get press nice and tight, and try leaving them in longer
(we have our presses set for constant 200 degrees, and leave them in for 200 seconds, with the mugs pre-warmed on a hot plate)
Admittedly, we use different presses and different mugs, but looking at your pic, it looks like the faded mug isn't 'finished' and either needs more pressure or time (or both)

just to add my 5p to this...
TIGHT pressure no mean more color will sublimate to the mug. it will avoid bleeding and luring but to much of it and it will blure/fade.
so don't squeeze your blanket too much. Just enough so mug is not moving. but blanket is not skueezed.
Also make sure you always print on same side of paper ;)

The whiter side of the paper is the printing side.

Not in all cases, whereas I've not come across a sublimation paper where the stickier side isn't the printing side (sometimes you need to lick your fingers to judge which is stickier)
