Can be time on the water, along with space in the container, and where on the waiting list you are, ie the next container coming in may already be sold out.

Re: Listawood
They do both I think, The Duraglaze are coated here so I suspect whoever has ordered the entire lot is going to get both.I didn't think they coat their sublimation blanks in the UK but get them shipped in ready to go
Exactly Arthur, Listawoods do not realise that by chasing the quick buck they have potentially lost more in sales than that one order will ever make, I am sure Kris knows this and likewise Ben and Dawn, but they are not the ones who made the decision to screw so many people over. They just have to take the flak due to their bosses incompetence. We all get caught with our trousers down every now and then when things don't go quite to plan but theres a bit of a theme forming here and I can't afford to lose the trust of my clients.

Well.. aren't I glad I popped on here
After just receiving an order of 4 boxes of Listawood mugs.. I am now a little concerned that the Dinky stock won't be available till god knows when.. after potentially just securing a customer who's only interest is those..
WHY when they sent me out the sample, did they not specify a stock issue
This could make me look like a right chump if she now wants to go ahead and order !!

Hi All,
I thought it may help if I updated you on our current stock levels.
We have had a challenging couple of months in terms of stock, this is mainly due to the demand for our Duraglaze products growing unbelievably rapidly. Most of the demand for Duraglaze comes from our customers, like yourselves, who decorate the blank mugs we supply. We would like to thank all of you for bearing with us.
We have built 2 new additional coating lines dedicated to the production of sublimation blanks. These will enable us to increase our capacity considerably; not just to cope with our current demand but to accommodate considerable increase in future demand. These new lines are coming on stream now and good levels of mug stocks are being produced every week. We allocate stock on a first come, first served basis with both the promotional and blanks market being equally as important to us.
The good news is that we have free stock available now for our most popular 10oz Durham mug. Dinky Durhams, Little Lattes and our other unique styles are scheduled for production over the next 5 to 10 days, if you want to pre-order any of these we are happy to reserve the stock for dye sub forum members prior to production.
I hope this helps to clarify the situation, if you have any questions feel free to get in touch with us.
Best wishes
Becki

problem is - will we be able to get stock next month as well? If I offer Duraglaze Dinky Durham mugs, to potential customers now, will you be able to fulfil my blank stock orders next month and the month after?
Until we all know that you have free stock and are confident that you will continue to hold free stock it puts us in a very difficult chicken and egg position. Personally I can't really afford to order a pallet of DD mugs on spec now (or know quite where I would store them along with my other stock etc) and then hope I can get the orders in. Like (I suspect) the majority of DSF subbers I rely to an extent on being able to order stock in from wholesalers as it is required and to hold minimal blank stock for samples and small orders.
I really want to offer Dinky Durham mugs, if only because they are so much more robust plus being easier and cheaper to work with than the alternative (in shape and capacity) which is a bone china Balmoral.
regards
Arthur

Hi Arthur
We are now in a position to have a continued stock in place going forward and will be further ramping up our stock levels over the coming weeks. We do on occasions get spikes in demand which can use stocks quicker than anticipated but our investment in new lines means that we will be able to replenish stock quickly to full fill orders. October, November and December tend to be very busy months in the dyesub world, and we've factored this into our planning.
We understand your point completely about the need to be able to access stocks quickly
Thanks,
Becki
