Re: The world is conspiring against me

I'm not kidding, loose recent main business due to change in law, that's after EU law and recession screwed the last one up. Try to set up sublimation again and every piece of new equipment has been faulty. Dodgy ICC profile (not Paul's) giving odd colours, dodgy heat blanket on mug press after months of puzzling. Dodgy flat bed press returned, new expensive heat press dead on arrival, poor quality blanks returned. Tons of wasted blanks with fussy or faulty equipment. Anyone know any easy jobs??

They do exist but they are mind numbingly boring.

Sounds like a regular day in the life of a sublimation printer. You will learn to enjoy the grief and relax in the knowledge that the same shit goes on with most of us. I bought 15 new mug elements less than 3 months ago and already need 12 replacements. Suppliers are always out of stock but that's just the standard. Customers expect the world but at a discount price. Flipping burgers in McDonalds can seem attractive job now and then.

That original message was two days ago, I need to update it! Brand new dead on arrival Adkins press was replaced by the supplier by an even dodgy looking second hand press and some scammer left me negative feedback in the middle of trying to help him. And a VW restorer wanting to charge me 2.5 hours labour @£36 per hour to pin up a three foot curtain. Time to end this day, watch 24 and have a beer. But put it into perspective I could have had Jack Bauer's day instead.
