Hi to all and thank you for all your posts that I have been reading over the past few weeks before I officially registered.
I've done a lot of research for a new mug business, called UK Printed Mugs, and so thanks to all you forum members who have given really useful advice.
After going through numerous mugs to get the process just right and three mug ovens I decided to stick with two mug presses which give consistent results unlike the oven route. Although I must say the only oven I was really impressed with was the mini vacuum from BMS which does phone covers as well (another business in the making!). The oven kept temperature just right and the mugs always came out really well. The mini vacuum belonged to someone else though which has been passed on. I went through a halogen oven and a convection oven but neither found them very good for maintaining a consistent temperature and so threw lots of mugs away. Hence ended up with two mug presses instead.
Anyway, I am up and running and within a month have made my money back on equipment.
Look forward to more forum activity over the coming weeks and months.
Olly

Absolutely. Always the quiet ones at the back of the class who swoop in at the last minute and claim the lime light!
