I have at present a Silhouette Cameo which is a brilliant machine for doing 12" x 24" vinyl work.
I am now looking for something bigger and have seen the following
[h=1]PixMax™ 720mm/28" Vinyl Cutter Plotter & Software[/h]http://www.monsterdoodles.co.uk/vinyl_c ... egory_id=3
I wondered if anyone has used one of these before and whether these are a good buy or not. I have a limited budget at the moment, so unable to spend the £1200 odd required for a decent quality cutter
Thank you for any help or advice in advance

My Liyu Sc631e was a bit cheaper than that I think - its been flawless since I got it.
Don't buy the version with the so called 'Eye' though as it's just a laser which is useless.. the sc631 is cheaper too.

if you want a cutter with a stepper motor then buy one of these chinese things, if you want quality buy a graphtec or a roland as they use servo motors far more accurate and controllable.
