Anyone been using the various software options for 3D images onto mugs and phone cases etc? The more advanced types out there look good and having had a fiddle with some it seemed like a winner. Problem is I have only heard negatives so far from people who have coughed up the monthly subscription. Just a bit concerned as had some plans.

We often use the PS version but that is a very different option to what some of the newer softwares can do. We have even made our own for various 3D phone wraps with a 1 click action for applying a design. The fully integrated software that can offer so much more though if you sell online with custom designs in a decent volume could be worth the investment if works as well as they say. Just never heard anyone yet say it is as it says on the tin.

I heard from a couple of companies using it that there's been no end of problems. Lots of glitches to work through which you might expect but it's not cheap if it takes time to get up and running. I am sure one guy said it wasn't working on apple products so was having to switch to 2D due to delays. I think the new softwares out there will be a great asset soon enough but just personally don't want to jump in the wrong direction.

Interesting comments we do both 3D and 2D - the main drawback with 3D was that most systems used flash
we have just launched a web GL version - here are a few links below to try - love to hear some feedback

Web GL 3D Example
