I wish I knew you enough to ask the question I'd ask someone on my own forum had they posted that.

The whole point of this post was about "POSTAGE" and how some suppliers "DON'T MAKE IT CLEAR UNTIL YOU GET TO THE CHECKOUT!" then you also don't know if the VAT is already added or not? and IMHO some suppliers keep psotage at a high cost to make extra from buyers when other suppliers sell the same items from the same overseas suppliers.

Thanks for replying as a supplier Jay!

I have seen the latest revamp your site has and it's a lot better with regards to the product cost with & without VAT costs! now added.

I can really understand how hard it is to judge postal costs around the UK,Europe and the world with the Royal Mail and other companies!

But what I can't understand is with the UK market is how your company & a few others can't offer Free delivery over a certain amount where others can when most of you suppliers get your blanks from the same overseas suppliers?

We as in your customers can't order the amounts you the suppliers get them for rely on you to be our suppliers but I somewhat feel we are being taking for a ride when it comes to postage!

i think you have to consider a couplke of things to answer that question
supplier A may have negotiated a better deal with courier company than supplier B
supplier A may buy a container of mugs get them really cheap and pass the cost of postage on through the mugs supplier B may buy half as many mugs therefore pays more and can not add the cost of postage in the price.

what you need to consider is this you are asking why all suppliers cant charge the same, as all suppliers get their stock from more or less the same place so if thats the case then when you sell a mug you are a supplier why cant you sell that mug for the same stupidly low price as some do on ebay ?
it may be that some suppliers are not prepared to make a loss on postage where some are but gain it back in other areas i dont think its as cut and dry as they should all charge the same . by that standard we should all be selling a mug at £3.00 with free postage as thats what ive seen mugs being sold on ebay
