CISS are hit and miss, and is more to go wrong - the printer was not designed to pull ink through tubes from big remote tanks. You may be better looking for a new printer which can get bigger carts - the Epson WF Pro printers can get 100ml refill carts, or trade in your collection of printers and go wide format and get 300ml refill carts!

lol....aye....but that would just leave me ONE printer.
if that goes tits up or fails when we got large run of cases in, we are up **** creek without a paddle:rolleyes:
to risky to have just one printer my friend

i liked the brother printer cause we could get the 80ml large cart that stuck out...they were great....
but looks like we will be buying some more surgical gloves from ebay

TBH we dont really need anything bigger than A4 printer, as we only do phone cases and mugs now.
that was differant when we had the cameo and wanted to try this n that - but this n that was not for us

i dont know....i personally think its a comfort thing, so i been told.....it gives me a warm glow to know they are there, and always one new spare in the box just incase  - my printers are my best friends....and they dont answer back....pity they cant make the bloody coffee

what happened to the spell checker on here ? it vanished ?

I know what you mean - we have a spare large format just in case, but it doesn't get used. I'd like to flog it to free up some cash, and give me some space to put the large format scanner back into use, but it's hard to know there isn't a spare then, without swapping inks on the pigment printer.
If you had the space though, a large format would drastically cut your paper and ink costs even for mugs and phone covers.

our ink costs are minimal - we import our own sub inks in bulk from korea
papers we tried, but first lot didnt print proper blacks..
these new ones are the same as tru-pix papers, nice deep blacks - but we still buy xpres papers if we run out before next delivery

Good move - Korea has some good inks!
Remember though that changing papers does really need a new ICC, you can't just compare them like for like with the same ICC.
