Re: Printwear & Promotion

Post by Justin »

I've been speaking to the P&P magazine this week and they've expressed an interest in running a regular column for the DSF, at least for 3 issues to see how it goes.

I think this could be very exciting for us as it will no doubt help to swell member levels and generally raise industry awareness of the DSF.

The column would be based around a kind of FAQ section where we list a few regularly asked questions and appropriate answers. There'd be an advert across the bottom of the feature and we may have a seperate advert running in the magazine as well.

As always, I appreciate your comments and feedback on this. I've outline a few proposed questions for the magazine, "What equipment do I need", "what can I produce" and so on.

I'm also looking into possibilities of attending the P&P show next year to again help raise awareness, maybe on a stand or just leaflets....just a thought at this stage.

Justin ;)

Excuse my ignorance, but it is this a magazine you're talking about, and if so, where can I get it from?

Sorry Justin - without the risk of sounding ............ daft!

What's the P&P Magazine?

I googled it and got http://www.printwearandpromotion.co.uk/ is this what you mean? And if so, do they do a magazine also, or would it be an column online?

I was offered a 3/4 page column to run in several issues with an advert for the DSF along the bottom which was great. Problem is they wanted £400 per issue to run it :( I've been offered a tiny advert for £80 per issue as well, so neither will happen just yet! I've asked them about an exchange of advertising if we decide to go down that route in any shape or form.
