This was cooked for 20 mins. If you're using it as an oven you need much longer times.

Are you aware of the hidden time/temp/vacuum settings on these machines?

i,m aware of the time/temps for the film change...but didnt know there was any for the mugs...dont show it on the youtube vids or in the Emanuel justin ;-(

20mins per mug ???????????

12/15 mins is typical for a mug with a wrap on in a halogen oven so I went to 20 just to see what happened....and you can see.

You need to know about the vacuum delay setting for printing film cases, there are two temp settings as well.....has your supplier not been through this with you yet?

Who's Emanuel? lol. You need to remember, this is new technology at an early stage and as I've told folk before this will take time and patience to get right. We/you are at the forefront of testing these machines, very useful information and feedback for the suppliers hoping to sell them but I assume these companies are testing themselves.

lol....never mind who Emanuel is
no they aint told me jack justin

think i will skip the mugs....my mug press's do same if not better job in around 4 mins..as i have posted samples top to bottom prints
so...will use one with the film..other with paper...
only prob i got with the film over the paper...is placement.....the film is a bugger to place...when you pull down the lever to lock, it moves or crumples the film and image.....i found bit of relief if you cut about 5/6mm off the top of the film....not to much as the vacuum will not seal..as i found out..
it helps stop the crumpling of the film a tad when lever pulled down

the paper is so easy to use....corner are no bother once you learn how to do it....can do one in around 2/3mins now
placement of image is spot on...

forgot to add....the way they are advertising this product is that it can sublimate a mug in under 5 mins..thats what all the vids show....and the manuel says....dont say anywhere 20mins....bit of false advertising i would think .
the cases are spot on tho......
unless there is another setting for the mugs we aint found yet or something justin....but to be honest..do you ever see a full vid straight through without any breaks for the mug sublimation ? no....they always cut and come back..

Seems to be multiple threads running at the moment regarding all of this.

See post 12 for further enlightenment.

There are no support documents it's a matter of studying the videos available and then talking to your supplier for support to get you going.

..............
thats what i,m getting at here.....for a piece of machinery thats going to be sold in some numbers i would presume to individuals and other resellers alike, the lack of knowledge base with this is really annoying.....one should not have to "just look at the YouTube vids/figure it out, then talk to supplier to get going" this all should all be in the form of a TUT....or at least have 1 vid where it explains it all a bit better for people and other resellers...
YES it may be new tech, and YES there will be teething probs, but they have not put this together very well in my eyes...i dont mean build quality, i mean the way they have, or lack of,proper detailed instructions on the use and capabilities (or not ) of these machines really beggars belief tbh

i,m only so glad i never bought in a load of these things as i was going to do to sell on... = nightmare with freddy krugger at the helm

and i,m not getting at you justin, cause your in the same boat as the rest of us ...just stating a fact/s from the eyes of a buyers point of view

When I bought mine it was pre-production so I appreciated there would be limited support. There are now 3 companies in the UK selling these so surely they will be providing support? probably just waiting while we do all the tests John. We're building up some useful info here for members looking to use one of these machines...or possibly not.

i agree - any info is always useful for new buyers of these machines...the more people buy it n try it, the more input we will have on this forum regarding it capability's, which can only be a good thing....whether these be home truths about the machine or factual based.

but i think these is more to do here justin with these machines....and i think a little more tweaking here n there ( god i wrote twerking there lol ) we will see results....and no twerking lol .

please keep posting any finding you come across as well....as any info is helpful here at this early stage.

i,m off to do some more - will be back ;)

apparently these machines DONT WORK for mugs - ONLY PHONE CASES.......others are having the exact same problem i have now...
My guess is the coating (or lack of it) on that particular mug. To not get anything at all surprises me. Did this guy try any other mugs? Any response to that post?

Your post No.10 really confused me until I read the response comments to the You Tube video, now I see that was what the OP had written, I thought this was from you.
