Advice on best print method for this logo

Customer wants me to print this logo (Yes I will have written permission) onto 14 shirts as part of a charity event. Approx. 12" wide.

Was hoping vinyl would be best option if I can get a shade close but I don't think overlapping would give me the darker shade in the centre. I think the shirts will be either purple or dark blue.

I guess another option would be transfers, Versacamm maybe but it's a small job, charity related so I need to keep costs down.

Anyone any ideas on how to best reproduce this?

I recently used the xpress dye sub vinyl transfer paper and found it to be a good product.

Yes, I do use the transfer papers and this would possibly look ok, I'm a bit weary that at that size it may feel a bit papery and might cause excess sweating (not nice, sorry) I could use a different paper that wasn't as thick but as the text is white it needs the white background to show through.

You could get some Oki white transfers made up if you didn't want the feel of vinyl.

Why not just sub straight onto a polyester t shirt. A lot of these sport t shirts are quite good nowadays.

Already printing Oki transfers but I don't think this would be particularly good at the size it needs to be...will run a test though.

Embroidery not for this job, needs to be done in house and I'm not a fan of embroidery

Good option Paul, may work out costly factoring in postage. Had offer for Verscamm prints, I think this will prob be best idea, thanks everyone.
