Re: Our Sequin Machine - Not really Printing!

We've not had much spare time to play with our sequin machine since it arrived :( So, having got up at 6am this morning we decided to give it a go with a simple design.

Here's the video

The finished design on a shirt

The design takes just 1min 50secs to create.

We plan combining it with DTG & sublimation to 'bling it up'.

Yes, quite expensive but we've never taken a penny out of the business and reinvested any income including monthly income :)

Very impressive John :-) Can the machine produce with different colours/stones etc? Will you be selling custom made heat transfers with this? i used to buy from a local company in small quantities as it was very economical, would be useful to have a 'price list' again :-)

Hi Justin

I saw the machine at FESPA a couple of years back and at every FESPA it certainly drew a lot of attention. Always wanted one but never had the money! The other equipment we own has made it possible.

Angie and I travelled to All American in Philadelphia back in September as they insisted on training before selling the machine. Still an awful lot to learn and as you know, it takes time!

Yes, the machine has four heads so four sizes and/or colours. When I gain experience in designing the patterns, we could do eight sizes and/or colours and even more than that.

Yes, we'll be selling motifs we produce from it but haven't got any ideas of pricing yet - any ideas Justin as you used to purchase them? :)

Cheers

John

Looks pretty impressive! I'd love one of these but for now have to stick with the old fashioned stickyflock and mylar tape method :-(
