Re: Is this equipment ok to get started

Post by Neilb78 »

Finally I am ready to purchase some equipment to run alongside our embroidery, want to do sublimation, wall art and tshirts, so got quotes off xpress who found to be very helpful and bms. So it looks like I am going to go for ricoh a4 sub printer, df38 heat press, mug press df1 all from bms and a roland gx24 from xpress all fall nicely into my budget.
What's your thoughts on this kit, wanted the heat press from xpress but bit over budget.

My only comment would be that A4 is too small if you're wanting to do sublimation t-shirts

Hey Neil,

If you are looking at a cutter with us we also sell all sublimation, I can offer you a cheaper deal if you were to consolidate the purchase with us.
If this is not possible I understand but I will be happy to help with product recommendations if you would like any advice.

Additionally there are finance options available in order to make your investment easier.
Please let me know if you need any assistance, my email is in my signature if you need me.

I would recommend quality in an equipment setup as you will get great product results and good equipment holds value better for resale.
I usually would say:
-GX24
-A3 Ricoh/A4 Epson with Sawgrass inks
-Adkins Multi Mug Press
-Adkins Swing or Clam press depending on budget requirements

For a start up or bolt on, this will allow you to realise a very wide range of products for market when using our consumable and cut media ranges.
Good luck in the search Neil, have a great Friday!
