If you were to sit and work it out it would be pennies per coaster, tbh I wouldn't get hung up on it. My printer has been working for a year now on standard carts and is only now showing low ink on 3 out of 4....still life left in these anyway. I've done the equivalent of a few thousand coasters! Certainly been through 500+pages of subli paper :-)

Press wise. T-Shirts you really need a larger A3 size press, everything else you'd get away with an A4 size or similar. Obviously you'd need an A3 printer the n though so costs will rise significantly....unless you're going to print your Tees with vinyl?

Your budget could get swallowed up quite quickly by the time you add up all those consumables...T shirts, phone covers etc. If your logo is going onto the T shirts, you could save a lot by making the design less than A4.

The Adkins range are very built, reliable and top quality. Take a look at the 15 x 15 and the 38cm x 30cm

Add VAT onto those prices.

The budget is mainly for equiptment and coasters. I just want to make sure that what ever press i get that it can cope with other products just in case. Gotta think out of the box so to speak.

Thanks for the link. Looks like a nice machine.

This is their website:

http://www.aadkins.com/

Clam presses are normally used for T shirts and swing away for fragile items like coasters. I intend to put my designs onto coasters shortly, so I'm looking at glass and Unisub coasters for the best quality.
