You shouldn't need a whole extra minute in the press. Are your mugs coming out blurred?

My mugs are cold, and 180 for 180 works just fine.

I went through this same thing yesterday - I even got the manual out..

THIS is the press I have and its new, only done a few mugs in it and for that reason I have not settled on a routine.

There is no pre-heating like my Chinese One had - you cannot allow it to heat to temp with a Mug in place to protect the wrap (as is often advised) because the timer will start as soon as the handle is pulled !

So, as I am using Ricoh ink I am putting a 'Room Temp' mug in for 180 secs at 170 c and things are good - I am dunking (with the paper still on) to retain a sharp image.

I just need to settle on a routine !!!
My website is open: www.Linksrepairshop.co.uk

Using FlexiStarter 10 and a Liyu SC631e & a Silhouette Cameo cutter. 2x Ricoh SG3110dn printers and Adkins Auto Clam press. Using Sublijet-r from Sawgrass.
