Hi everyone
Newbie here. Could I ask if anyone has dye subbed onto leather, and if so what were the results.
Thanks in advance

WOW and OBM laser transfere work well on leather, think you can use ttc too - all from the magic touch, don't think you will get result from sub because there is no poliseter to bond to, - suggest you just give it a try and advise ! - use an old belt etc

Thanks logobear, I am thinking that I would have to coat the leather in digicoat to get the bond.

Digicoat could be interesting here, as leather isn't something you would normally put in the wash, so less chance for it and the design to be washed off!
If it doesn't need to be real leather, then white synthetic leather would be perfect and not need coating

Thanks Pisque, really want to use real leather if at all possible. Gonna cross my fingers and give it a go.

Tried chamois leather a few years ago but it shrunk under the heat. Not sure of the process on chamois compared to thicker leathers. Less heat required with ttc etc so assume there is a certain point where it will work. I know the pictaleather prints well but limited options and expensive.

I'd be astounded if "pictaleather" is a product created specifically for sublimation printing and isn't just a polymer based white synthetic leather that they have found prints well and are reselling at twice the price that they buy in on the roll.
