I use paintshop x5 or sometimes photoshop but it shouldn't matter what your using. If you have a document/page or what ever you want to call it set to the dimensions you want your print to be and set to a resolution of 300 pixel/inch when you copy and paste a image to it you will see right there and then if its a crappy image or not.

I get the 96dpi warning in corel every time even when I know i am using a hugh image for a tiny print and I have not resampled it down, - i think it is just an error from the print dialogue box, I just ignor it, - always have, if there are any issues i just do a plain paper print at size and get client to approve, - they always do, even though it sometimes looks like something from the lego move.
