It maybe hard to find a fellow subber who would have time to build you complete website as well as run their own.

What problems have you been having that has made you give up

I paid for an ecommerce site a few years back, cost me £1500+ and was very basic, hosting was £25 per month on top of that. Did the job very well but I decided to do my own through Opencart this time and I'm pretty happy so far www.printshetland.com. Biggest investment really is time, lots of time.

At first glance it seems really overcomplicated, you have to persevere at the start and it get easier :-) You can get a great sense of satisfaction building the site yourself and it costs next to nothing, if not nothing! When it comes to updating and changing you can do everything yourself so you're not waiting/paying someone else either.

You'll find threads on here already discussing the different platforms, many of us do use OC though already so we're here to help you along the way :-)
