Hi Folks

I'm looking to sell my fledgling online business http://bit.ly/1dqxYp2

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have not been able to maximise the site's full potential. It only launched in July 2014 but unfortunately I have had no time to market or attempt to grow the business. So it has been pretty much left to it's own devices. Happy to supply sales figures and more details as requested off forum.

It is a very niche market and they are no other similar sites out there. As well as growing the site itself, there is huge untapped potential to offer drop shipping to other on line retailers especially those in the maternity and gift market - they don't have the facilities to offer personalisation and there are very limited products available specific to pregnancy. There is also scope to sell on portal sites such as NOTHS etc - and possibly Ebay/ Amazon.

Having looked at other similar online businesses for sale, based on design quotes to create the site in the first instance and the fact we are including ALL original artwork and product designs (CDR files), we have come to a figure of £2500 ono.

The details of what are included in this figure are below:

Domains:

.co.uk - paid up to 19 January 2015

[name with a hyphen] co.uk – paid up to 19 January 2015

Web:
Full Hosting package - paid up to 3 June 2015 (with emails and the usual elements included)

SSL Certificate - paid up to 27 June 2016

Website:
Fully operational Opencart contemporary website (front and back-end), including multiple paid-for add-ons. Great functionality, including rotating mug display.

Fully optimised for mobile & basic SEO.

Logo:
Design and original high res files included. All IP for logo etc.

Images:
ALL photographs and banners included – these are high quality high resolution images taken by a professional photographer in a studio.

Products on site:
Licence to reproduce ALL products currently on site. These have all been lovingly designed in-house and are completely original to PP. Many hundreds of hours have gone into creating over 150 original product designs.

Templates:
ALL original coral draw template files (.cdr) necessary to create all products on the site. Again ALL 100% original artwork.

Social Media:
Established Facebook page: 261 followers

Established Twitter Page: 498 followers (winner of #TwitterSisters Award, August 2014)

Stock
I will also include my remaining stock of high quality, plain maternity t-shirts. These are 96% cotton 4% spandex and have beautiful ruched sides. They are extra long in length to cover the bottom. You can see them on the website. I have over 100 T-shirts worth over £600 wholesale. Potentially £2000 retail value with personalisation. (Buyer to collect or courier at cost).

This is a great opportunity for someone willing to think outside the box with marketing and get themselves supplying other outlets!

Please message me for any more details and with any questions,

Thanks
Nicola

what about http://www.mumstuff.co.uk the owning companies website? selling the same products for a cheaper price.. is that to be the supplier? also don't understand the claims of the designs being "lovingly designed in-house and are completely original to PP" is this incorrect with the existence of the products on the mumstuff website also?

Hi Paul, PP is being sold as a standalone website. MumStuff is my main business. The current situation is that PP supplies/ dropships a small number of products for the MumStuff website and a baby & child shopping portal (The Early Years Boutique). As I mentioned above, there is much scope to extend this and I haven't had the time to do it. The PP products on the MumStuff website are all clearly named as being PP designs (so customers know what the brand is) - and are completely original designs to the PP brand! MumStuff is currently having a sale, which is why the prices are reduced.

Hi, I have just reduced the price of the site to £2500 and I have included in this price my remaining stock of quality, ruched maternity t-shirts worth over £600 cost. That's over 100 T-shirts and they retail at £19.95 each... Please see original post for full list of everything included.

For clarification purposes, as this was mentioned in the posts above, I have now closed down my main business after 9 years of trading (long story!). So this personalised website will be standalone.

So is mumstuff still trading or not?? The website is up and running - is this the main business you say is now not trading?

How do you get to a value of £2500 for a non trading business with about £100 in stock (sorry but 100 t-shirts are not worth £600 under any circumstances and in liquidation sales are worth about 50p each tops).
