Re: 'Tidy Pot' (ie. like mugs without handles)

Post by Maggie »

Hi there

Sorry for the silly title, am sure there is a proper name for what I am looking for but I don't know it (which is probably why I can't find them).

Basically a ceramic handle-less mug...to put on a desk and put pens, sit on the worktop and put bits and bobs in, etc.

Does anyone know what these are called/where I can get them please?

Thanks both. Was looking for something white inside but it's a start so will keep looking.

Thanks again.

The Transfer Press sold vases and utensil pots, but I can't see them there now.
However would this toothbrush holder work? looks like the lid is separate - you would need to check that though. http://www.thetransferpress.co.uk/acata ... lders.html

£1 more expensive than a mug though.

This might be the manufacturer if you could be bothered dealing with China.

You could also try the transfer press utensil jar or buy 10,000 from sun-fly in china!!

Alternatively saw the handle off a cheap mug:smile:

Thanks Skye, GoonerGary and daviddeer. Have been in touch with the transferpress and the lids are separate...it's just the extra cost that I am not sure about. Will have a look at the utensil jar. Was thinking dealing with Chine too scary and it is quantities of 10,000....in my dreams. Think the handle detaching could be the best bet at the moment ;)
