well guys....

tried the tru-pix paper tonight.....
first off the paper is lot heavier than the xpres normal stuff.....diff colour as well  kinda dull grey, compared to the brill white of the xpres normal paper.....which in turn is maybe what helps what i,m gonna say next....

the blacks are a hell of a lot more....black, deeper, on the tru-pix papers which is great.....
that was just on phone cases - off to try the mugs now and see the difference....

will fire up some pics as ebay store & amazon are really dead today/tonight, so got some spare time to muck about....for a change

all we need now is a great deal from xpres the next time we 10/12 pkts of tru-pix papers

We've just been remaking all our ICC profiles for InkTec's paper, but getting very good results. Haven't got around to profiling for the TruePix yet.

thats us using the same profile paul made for the normal xpress papers beginning of last yr !!! so....

if its that good without proper profile, think we might just give paul another shout for new one.....

more testing to come first

We noticed too much of a shift in colour and saturation using different papers that I knew that the different papers would need us to reprofile.

I like the tru-pix, apart from the images being sharper the print head does not catch the edges like it does with the thinner xpres paper. Sometimes this can cause a print head smear and or the i have to trim the paper edges to remove the unwanted ink. Always had this issue with Epson and thinner papers.

Shame price is great.

funny you should mention that - on the xpress stuff, we often get black smears or ink that knacker the top 3 images of the a4 sheet  eps if its on vivid for logos ect

no probs with the tru-pix so far......for the sake of an extra couple of quid divided in to 100
