You're always going to want bigger...
We're currently on a metre wide printer and press, and am now wondering if we need to be looking at 1.5m !
Buy what you can afford which does the job you want it to do, and have budgetted for in your business plan.

I thought I'd be fine with the A4 even though it isn't as economical to run as the A3 - guess who is now seriously thinking about getting the A3 :o(

I just keep telling myself that its all tax deductible :o) and things don't seem so bad any more!

If you can run to the A3, get the A3. If you really can't stretch to the A3, then A4 it is and DO NOT be tempted to buy a cheap printer from www.cheaporichoprinters.co.uk as you will then have to buy in a set of inks at over £200 and you won't get full supprt from Sawgrass - which can be a real help when you start out!

As Paul said - pay a tenner for premium membership and you can get 10% off the purchase price.

What products are you going to be printing that need the A3 size?
Have you also budgetted for a press bigger than A3 to make the printer worthwhile?
