yes, totally possible, I am pretty sure it is just a document to say that Mr X is just the coordinator and that no financial gain is implied etc.Would there be a way of officially/legally each individual is buying from the manufacturer, and the forum member is just coordinating things?
I did point that out to Paul BigJ when he said about buying 10 and selling on. However I do think that if you purchased as a coop then you can circumnavigate most of the paperwork so each individual is responsible for their own machine. Depending on the price I may purchase but I am pretty sure that the machine will already have the required paperwork for UK electrics etc as there is no point in them not having this license, that would be like SEO without Google.the person buying for the group - if ANYTHING buggers up on the machine, its on the head of the buyer/importer to sort/replace/refund as who you sell to will have no other
contact but the importer here in UK....
CE TESTED ....have they legally been tested/stamped ? they have the proper doc/paper work to prove it ?...would also still get them checked here in UK by someone qualified - more money if done right.
then there is the talk of - someone buy from importer, plugs it in, and gets a new hair do in the process - he/she heads off to there solicitor to call on S.U.E. - so the proper liability insurance will have to be had....its ok saying here on a forum, yes joe blogs buys in 20 machines and sells them to the guys on the forum...we are all friends here...true, TILL SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THE MACHINE, then the friendly forum buddy goes right out the window, along with any reputation you have , or had
its NOT THAT SIMPLE GUYS
The first thing to do would be to get an exact price from one supplier with the full make and model and what you get for the price, it would be good to get a separate price for jigs/molds and also blanks as some of us may be interested in purchasing blanks but already have a machine. A separate price for shipping would also be required (presumably Airfreight as everyone is so bloomin impatient
I would also suggest at this point someone contacts UPS (for example) and ask them what the duty would be on a machine from China with a value of XX dollars.
