Help needed please

Hi feel really thick i but here goes after now hours spent trying to work out why
A logo i have been sent wont straighten the edges in the cutter software.
i have been emailed a PDF file when I put into photoshop it looks ok when I try enlarge the text the edges are jagged i have tryed everything i think even printing it out and taking a picture and redoing the logo.
the problem is when I put it on to my vinyl cutter software it picks out all the rough edges so hence will cut the vinyl jagged
I need smooth edges from somewhere lol or is it the fault With the logo as i have checked the cutter software and it is working fine with everything else

Try bringing the pdf into Illustrator or CorelDraw (or another vector based program if you have it) - it maybe that the logo is a bitmap file made into a PDF in which case you may need to trace it (if you use Illustrator)

hi this is the file they have sent me
and i dont have illustrator or corel draw

How large do you want it and what format does your cutter take?

The good news is that it is a vector file so it should cut easily using whatever software you are using for your cutter. What software do you use to cut vinyl and what format is best for you?

[ATTACH]2441[/ATTACH] try this version and see if it makes any difference. i quickly opened the file in illustrator, and can confirm it is indeed a vector, rather then bitmap. I added anchor points as this sometimes solves a similar problem I have with Silhouette Studio.
