Ok I'll have a word with paul......I took the mug outside today, and if I'm honest with myself there could be improvement, although it looks good, it would be nice to be near perfect....helps with sales!!!

Really? The "price" discussion has come up several times when people have asked about mugs (not this one) lots of people keep saying "yeah but you can get them cheaper on ebay" I'm yet to have my reply sorted!! so just blag it and say about quality.......I con't see how people sell mugs for peanuts, doesn't do anyone any favours!

I like the 'heritage' bit :-) Just got to get moving on it now!!!

Thanks for all the comments guys, it's appreciated :-)

I just tend to say something along the lines of "Cheap is cheap for a reason" then carry on with the discussion.

I'd say that if you wanted to be charging £20 you would stand a better chance of getting that sort of price on a better styled mug, especially if it was made of china.

That makes sense....I've actually had a few people asking about bone china mugs, are they easy to work with?

No different to work with china, just it costs more than a bog standard chunky mug.

Fine China:

Bone China:

(10% discount off those prices for being a premium member remember!)

Hi mate,

Well for starters, it might be worth putting a photo up for everyone to see, could give people a better idea of whatthe problem is.......I'm probably the least qualified to helpto be honest!! but for what it's worth, I wasted about 40 mugs before I got consistant results!!!!!

I'd say you'r best idea is to do an "Intro" thread in the new members section, then start a new thread and ask for some help, with photos I'm sure you'll get loads of help.....there's a really good group of very knowledgable people on here, and they're a friendly bunch too!!

As an aside, I see you come from Bracknell???? That (some may say) for my sins, is where I was born and bred!!! Been following the regeneration of the town, all my childhood memoires have been deleted there!!!!

Anyway, welcome from me!!!
