A lot of the Aloha cut-out shots are mock ups done in photoshop (or similar) with a set template, and the design added to it - this is why the outline shape of the shirts all look exactly the same. The only pictures to judge the actual finished product on are the style shots with the models.

I find it hard to believe that there are only 5 all over t-shirt printing companies in the UK.

Yep, me too. There actually appears to be less than that.

However i've been looking into this for a while and the only companies i can find are:

- 3rd rail in london
- Advertees in Cornwall
- Firelabel Bespoke in Worcester
- Order Art London

If you know of any more please do let me know, i'd really appreciate it.

Well, if you add into the mix companies that will print fabric by the metre/roll which can then be cut and sewn into whatever garment or fashion accessory you want then the list will become bigger.

Hi Pisquee. Before about 3 years ago sub printing was only done abroad. This is because the technology is relatively new and the machinery is v.v.v.v. expensive! Lots of companies in UK would just send it to china/ India to be printed. Now I think there are 3 companies who can professionally print the paper and the companies can steam this onto the garments.

You can buy 'personal' sub machines but these will only print onto the chest for example. Might as well transfer print!

There are hundreds of people who can do screen printing because it's been around for decades and the equipment is no where near as technical or expensive (i have done screen printng at college for example). This is so different which is why not many people do it yet!!

Check what type of printer they print the paper on. The 'at home' machines won't be that great.......
