Re: Which Printer & Ink would you recommend ...
I currently have the old Ricoh gx e3300n printer .. but realise it was the possibly the wrong choice for what i want to do. At the moment I mainly machine embroider baby garments and am looking too print onto baby vests, grows and bibs that are mainly 100% cotton. This i believe is not an option with the printer i have. I am very confused as to what type of printer and ink to go for. I have looked at possibly using chromablast ink in the printer i already have but when i asked a few months back if this would work i was told that the ink wouldnt last long on the cotton items. Any advise would be much aprreciated. Thanks

Bit of confusion here i think heres the basic rules as i see it
sublimation ink will work in your printer but you can only use sublimation ink on polyester items if you try to use this on cotton items it will wash out after the first wash
Chromeablast inks im not sure if will work in your printer but there are other richohs which it will definatly be ok to use chromablast in this ink is suitable for cotton garments and as far as im aware there shouldnt be any significant fading over time with these inks.
for more comprehensive advice i would ring up the likes of BMS or Transferpress who im sure would be more than happy to advise you on which systems are best for your needs
