Getting a green colour cast, have nozzle checked and reprofiled. Still there. suspect I have something wrong in colour management but can't establish where.

Anybody else using X6 with icc?

I use corel x6 but use the default icc.I dont load any special icc and have no problems at all.I use china ink cheap as chips, unbranded paper and my results are fine.
Try using the included icc with corel and let the printer handle it, as it will work

Can you post a screen shot of your colour management settings in Corel?

For printing the test charts for the profiling, did you use the Adobe color printer utility thing to bypass any software colour management? (ie you didn't print the test charts with Photoshop or Corel)
For printing the test charts, was colour management turned off in the printer driver?
All (paper type, quality etc) settings that you had in the print driver need to be the same now as they were when you printed the charts
Following this PDF guide from Sawgrass should walk you trough the correct colour management set-up of Corel.

Hi Pisq.
I printed the test charts straight from the colormonki software via the printer colour management off, etc.

I have just gone back into the studio and looked at the print from photoshop in the full spectrum lights. It is better than the coreldraw print but still not right. The bricks behinf the heads is still grey/greenish as opposed to grey/reddish that they should be. I have followed the sawgrass / conde videos frame by frame.

So if I work from photoshop (CS6) as most people here do, then I can check my settings.

So I shall start a separate thread as I will work on this within photoshop.

Cheers

Ok. Now i know you used CM to profile your setup.
so you used about 100 colour samples to do that. To achieve better colours you ill need to re profile your profile. CM is not perfect for icc's but it has one cool feature. You can take samples of a image and create color charts from it. So crop your image to the elements where you can see most colour cast and made color chart of it. Print, press and scan it. Save it to your existing icc . This should help. If not then you need more advanced process to remove color cast.

Interesting that there is such a difference in printing from Corel and Photoshop
