I learned loads from here without having to add to threads. I try to add when i think its needed, but there's many people here with much knowledge now, no need for us 1st timers anymore

I rarely have the time to pop onto any forum at the moment but when i do 'lurk' its this one I visit, often all questions are already answered. Unfortunately not making my millions but arranging a business close and move. Although its not until June our show season starts then and we have 23 years worth of 'stuff' gathered here in our premises.

I lurk now reading the post and still find things that I don't know, but the multi million pound business isn't happening but working hard and long hours is still there, I agree with chongsta many more people with advice and that helps the forum

Hiya jenny, i saw that the Shop Front for Abigail s China got some massive exposure on ITV West News on Small Business Day.

I didn't even know, they did want to chat but I was to busy to stop and talk about crap, they turned up in a bus, bloody huge it was ( good job the green party wasn't there the petrol they must have used, for 10 people when the bus look it look a 40 setter ) with about 10 people and two camera men, set up a stall with some lady with chains around her neck, who posed behind a table they had set up. then she got in to her posh car and said it was cold, it was all show, just a photo opportunity for them, they really could not give a toss, so did I want to talk to NO I didn't. It was all about Small business: why they call themselves that when they really only care about bigger small business. Any how enough ranting but I would like to say to newbies is the best advertisement that you can get is word of mouth.
