Hi Adam,

I've just seen this thread and we have a coffee set that may be of interest to you- it comes with the cup, saucer and a spoon. Just an alternative that you might want to see.

Yeah - I was looking at the set yesterday.

It says that you need the 'mini press' but would a standard press with an additional wrap/blanket on the cup suffice?

You can use the mini mug press or the larger mug press as long as it has a 5 - 7.5cm wrap.

That looks interesting. I've bookmarked it.

I presume it can be pressed in an oven with a wrap, too? I sometimes press China mugs in this way which, although taller, are just 6.8cm diameter.

Yes it can be pressed in the oven with a wrap. The crucial part would be to make sure the wrap it tightly placed on the mug and the heat generated in the oven should be high enough.
