Re: Pet Bowls

Post by Designandgift »

i am looking to start doing pet bowls and have looked every where for someone who does them
they all seem to be out of stock. i have only recently had a customer looking for an order for his pet shop and it would be perfect for me to get started in pet bowls.
does anyone here know who stocks them and can give me a link please?

also while searching on here for pet bowls just incase i seeing a link, i noticed a discussion about prinitng on the handles and the inside of the mugs using an oven..
has anyone done this using an oven with good results? i did read the inside would be hard to do, but i am guessing there is a way around it as i have seeing mugs with text inside, or maybe that was vinyl i dont know but it looked really good :)
i use a couple of ovens and would love to print on the handle or/and the inside
i may have a shot at it tomorrow after reading the posts about it

i am off to search google again just in case i missed someone..
i did try www.bestblanks.com but i really be looking at a supplier in the uk.

i know the wraps can be expensive but i do my mugs fully wrapped and taped (tape usage is crazy on the likes of latte mugs and bone china mugs but dont need no extra for 10/11oz mugs) so i am guessing it be the same story for the pet bowls
does any one else do petbowls in the oven with out the wraps that can confirm this for me?
if not, pet bowl wraps seem to be stocked up i will just have to dig deeper to get some :)

so my questions are just to clarify cause i think i rambled on a bit for a Saturday night

1. any one know a uk supplier for pet bowls?
2. has anyone printed on the handles and/or inside of mugs with success?
3. if you do bet bowls already to you use the wraps? and if not are you getting good results?

thanks in advance :)

Sorry, you did not mention where you had checked, so i thought i would just look at BMS yes pet bowls are expensive as such for blanks, but sell well - have you looked at all the normal suppliers xpress, novachrome, and the supporters on the site ? thats where i would start but a week before xmas you may well have left it too late for this year

yes i was guessing that myself while browsing
yes i have a list of suppliers and the discount codes some offer, i always make sure to search them first.
i should have mentioned who i did and didnt check my own fault
the customer is in no rush but he does want to offer them to his customers
i guess waiting till after the xmas will be ok and now i have a average price i know what kind of price to be looking at if i do find anyone with some in stock

i didnt check xpress or novachrome im just on xpress now thank you :)
