Got the chance of a OKI 5800 going cheap - are these any good for transfer papers?

I believe this is very similar to the c5700 which I used for many years without incident. It uses the same fuser unit and toner as the c5700 so should be ok. I changed to a c830 because I wanted A3 which for some odd reason wouldn't fuse the toner using the adobe cs4 suite.Works well with the cs6 suite so I am happy. Print using labels 1 or 2 through the manual paper tray. Worked with all papers.
My old c5700 was a real workhorse and just abut took 300g paper if I helped it through the mp feeder. After 5 years one died but I had a backup one (cost me £8 on fleabay). Toner is expensive, I tried compatibles which were ok, toner refill was a bit of a nightmare (won't be trying that anytime soon), but the ready filled worked great.
problems to watch out for.
not recognising toners
fuser unit errors
paper jams from lower tray
rollers worn on mp tray
toner on the leds and carrier belt from improper carriage

Thanks Dave and David for the replies - cheers.
If this printer is still available on Monday i'll knab it. I like the idea of the heavystock setting as my current laser printer can only cope with 160g thin card.
Cheers John

For the heavy card stock feed it through one at a time and give a gentle push on both sides as it feeds in through the top manual tray. It does tend to curl with the heat of the fuser so lay it flat under a weight until cool. Don't forget to set mp tray as the source in the printer settings.
