Good afternoon all, many thanks for all the help so far! Im sorry to be asking for help again..... I want to advertise the mugs i will be doing on my website but dont want to print 200 mugs up just so i can take a photo and have an image to show. Is there a programme that I can use where i can place the image/photo/writing onto a picture of a mug so it looks like the finished article? Im new to all this so sorry to sound a little green behind the ears... any help would be great!

Speak to moderator "Paul" about possibilities with this. You'll also find information on here for companies that may be able to supply you with suitable software, techCurl and Gateway 3D have variations but may be better suited to online personalisation rather than a mock up.

You can also get a script to run in Photoshop that will generate a virtual mug, very effective.

Hi

we have a version of our software called SAMPLE-iT just for creating mock ups - you can try it for free on a mug at http://www.gateway3d.com/products/sampl ... -lite.html

I have and still do use this for the mockups for my website: http://eprint.techcurl.com/mugDesigner/

It's great for what I am doing. I started by using the Action script for photoshop - the results are better but it takes far too long.
My website is open: www.Linksrepairshop.co.uk

Using FlexiStarter 10 and a Liyu SC631e & a Silhouette Cameo cutter. 2x Ricoh SG3110dn printers and Adkins Auto Clam press. Using Sublijet-r from Sawgrass.
..And I have gotten my money's worth out of this forum - saved Hundreds by being a Premium Member

i struggled with the gateway one, in my mind not that user friendly, i wanted to show a full size wrap, but it only wanted to put it on as a small photo, tried all sorts of things to make it larger, but no success, the tech curl one was easy peasy

At what price is the tech curl? Can it be added to standard web builders like weebly wix etc.

On the SAMPLE-iT demo you just need to select full wrap on the top right - sounds like you were just using the option for front decoration - system allows site or product owners to set up own templates so could have without front or back only options if required

we also do an online version that will embed on any website as an iframe - http://www.gateway3d.com/products/perso ... iewer.html
