After getting loads of orders for my 110z mugs I was asked for kiddie sized ones so I went ahead and bought a box. Just sizing up my mug press and WTF! I'm an idiot. I can't get it to fit the damn 6oz. I just thought it would do both.. feel a bit silly!

Depending on the type of press you should be able to swap over the blanket to one for the smaller size blanks, although it you're gonna be a doing them a lot, you'd be better off with a press dedicated to that size, so you're not constantly changing blankets around.

Its lovely to see all these different size and shape mugs around that have been Sublimated, its only then you start thinking of the blanket you would need for each one.

This is the reason I will buy the bigger of the Two Adkins Mug Presses as its big enough to accommodate a few blankets.

i really like the 6oz smug mugs
i do a few each week for a local b&b i use the oven to print onto them
i fully wrap the mug with template, tape down and i made a silcon wrap just right to wrap around it which i preheat also
its not as tight as the proper wraps for it but i still get great results
i can give you the temps i use for the smug mugs if you want to try print on to the ones you have in your oven

I'm really looking forward to doing the 6oz Mugs - I hear you can charge more for them - great for kids too.

Just need my new Mug Press first..

The press I am after does have a Black handle - so you should know exactly what I am looking at :)

morning all

Could someone 'remind' me who supplies the smug mugs? I remember seeing them when looking for an alternative to bone china Balmorals and Dinky Durhams, but having trawled a million and one web sites and having failed to bookmark them sensibly - I now have no idea where i saw them :o(

regards
