Is a online designer really worth it

i have a online designer on my website where customers can personalise a mobile phone case with their own images and text, I then download the completed design and simply print it, yet I still got complaint from customer. Example today I got an email saying they received their case with one image printed on when there should of been 3 images, what I am meant to say back it's not my fault if they only put one image on the case, they do see the case on our website while designing it so they would have seen only one image was on the case

so my question is "is a online designer really worth it"

All work done by yourself and approved will be printed.
No alterations can br done after submission of the art work yourself

and so on and so on

Then they have now reason to complain at you if you lay out your terms before they start their design

Yeah all that is already in my terms and conditions which you have to click a check box before you can proceed with order.

There is also a preview link on the product page when you have finished designing the case so they would have seen it there to.

They emailed me back saying they checked it 3 times before ordering the case, I don't see how this is possible as they would of seen the case only had one image.

When a customer finishes designing their case they press "finish" this then turns all uploaded images and text in to one image which I then download to print, I cannot edit this image

annoys me how they believe they are right and i'm wrong

Ask them to send the case back recorded delivery, you will then send out another one second class of course, it's the same old story 1 bad customer is worse than a 100 good customers. Or just tell them no.
Your dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.
How many customers a month use your design your own designer ? Is it paying for itself? This should answer your question.

I'm just sending them a replacement as we're just going round and round in emails. I don't get how they could of made the mistake as you can see the case as you design it.

The designer has paid for itself several times over and have only ever had 2 people complain this incident being one of them so it's not doing to bad lol
