Hello all
I am looking to step into the world of sublimation. My wife and I am looking to boost our income by doing some gift and promotional items. I know that you have all been asked before what is the best press/supplier/software and it also depends on budget. We have been doing research ourselves for the past 3-4 mths, looking on the forums, suppliers deals and that other site **ay(sorry for swearing ). All I ask is a quick 1 word answer for each.
I sure I will ask many more questions and in time be able to give some answers to someone else in my position.
Many thanks in advance
Iain

Re: Hello from Surrey
Welcome.
Premium members here get discounts (It's £10 a year) - I upgraded as I am new to this also and have honestly saved Hundreds.
I suggest:
Adkins Press (I am about to buy the Auto Clam Junior from xPress)
Ricoh 3110DN (Subli Version) from BMS.
I also do Vinyl with a Plotter but I think you are after Sublimation info.
You need a Mug Press (I have a cheap one, but it works).
Software:
Photoshop

Re: Hello from Surrey
Yes deffo go for the premium £10 membership. We prefer the George Knight Presses here but Adkins are great too. Good luck!
Re: Hello from Surrey
Welcome.
I have a cheap(ish) press, but it has done me very well and have hammered since getting it about four years ago. I did have one before this, but sold it and upgraded to a larger one.
I use the Ricoh 3110 from BMS, but can see me going A3 again in the New Year. having always used Epsons in the past the Ricoh seems better so far.
Mug press - I have had about five of them so far and hate the damn things, lol.
