Bit about me.
Have run a memorabilia company for seven years. Got into doing sublimation stuff a couple of years ago. Not by choice!!
We use to buy ready made and printed mugs from a place in Bury, we were selling these very cheap in Blackpool and because we were ordeing loads the supplier decided it wasnt worth their while time wise as wholesale wise they were making pennies. They suggested we buy a press and they would carry on printing and selling the designs for us. Worked well for a while till we fell out with the place as they were trying to rip us off.
So we decided to buy a sub printer with CISS system. Did a bit of shopping about and a decided to buy from a guy in Morecambe, me and a friend brought two Epson B1100 with CISS. He came down and set it up. It worked until he went. Then nothing, the guy disapeared, his websites, shop everything. Printer then put on hold and put in a cupboard. Think we paid £220. So not much luck up till this point.
Fast forward to September 2013 I no longer had shops but still had 400 blank mugs, a press and a printer. After much mucking about we finally got the printer working ( thanks to youtube tutorials) and started to press up some of the 500 designs we had done in 2012! Now selling well on ebay, Amazon and to our wholesale customers.
I have joined as I need more advice which I will ask in the relevant place. I will also pay the £10 fee to upgrade my membership. Thanks for reading.
