S21 Cartridge problem

Hi

I have a Epson S21 printer which i am using the CISS cartridges inside printer (not bottle feed). My black cartridge has all the sudden stopped working but the other 3 colours are working fine.

I have ran serveral cleaning processers but no joy ink is full in the cartridge so i know it's not the ink level

can anyone help me please?

Can you check if the cartridge is holding a vacuum? Try pulling ink out of the cartridge when the outlet hole is sealed. Does a vacuum form? If not then the cartridge probably has an air leak and needs to be corrected or replaced.

Yeah i checked that cartridge it holds a vacum.

Try putting in a normal ink cartridge - does that print? If not then the print head might be blocked. You could try cleaning this with a product such as nozzle rocket (or other print head cleaning solutions) if it does appear blocked.

yeah read few articles on net and it's ok for basic items that don't need lots of colours
